We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a senior engineering team that manages a large-scale, real-time transaction-processing platform, handling millions of concurrent events daily with strict requirements for accuracy, latency, and availability.
Engineers on this team work on a core system that computes and delivers results instantly, optimises database performance under continuous high load, and ensures the resilience of a distributed microservices setup. This role involves technically challenging work with direct influence on business outcomes.
Deine Aufgaben
- Design and develop backend services in .NET Core for a high-throughput, transaction-critical platform
- Build and optimise the engines responsible for real-time calculation and result distribution
- Own database performance in a write-heavy environment, including query optimisation, indexing, and schema design
- Maintain and improve the resilience of a distributed system, including incident diagnosis and root cause analysis
Dein Profil
- Solid skills in C# and .NET Core development
- Experience in SQL Server or PostgreSQL in a high-write transactional environment, including performance tuning
- Production experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Strong concurrency fundamentals (async programming, thread safety etc.)
- Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
- Proficiency in English
Backgrounds in fintech, payments, or high-frequency trading are a strong advantage.
